I’m picking up drawing again after years of not touching a pencil, which I blame on a demanding job that has nothing to do with drawing.
A while ago, I took out my sketchbook and pencil case… I did a few sketches, added some color, and then, out of frustration, I put everything back where it belonged…
In short, as they say in the tutorial video, drawing isn’t a gift, it’s something you work at! And it was high time I got back to it, and I’m going to try to keep it up!

Il y a quelque temps j'ai ressorti mon cahier de croquis et ma trousse... j'ai fait quelques traits mis un peu de couleur, puis de dépit j'ai tout remis à sa place...
bref, comme dit dans la vidéo de cours, le dessin c'est pas un don, ça se travaille! et il était grand temps que je m'y remette et je vais tenter de garder ce cap!
As you rightly said, drawing is primarily about hard work! In any case, it’s great that you’re starting to draw again; the most important thing is to get started!

Comme tu l'as très bien dit, le dessin c'est avant tout du travail! En tous cas c'est très bien que tu recommences à dessiner, le plus important, c'est de se lancer!
J'espère que la formation va t'aider à garder un certain rythme, et à ne pas baisser les bras en si bon chemin! Si tu as des questions, un coup de mou, ou juste l'envie de partager tes dessins, n'hésite pas à poster sur le forum, c'est toujours génial de voir les progrès de chacun! 🙂👍
I know what you mean about that sudden burst of motivation, only to put everything away again out of frustration. I’ve gone through that several times in recent years, but now I’m finally getting back into it seriously! Actually, all it takes is a good kickstart at the beginning, and then, with practice, you’ll start wanting to try all sorts of things. If drawing really interests you (and the fact that you’re coming back to it proves it!), that’s the most important thing :)
Good luck with the rest, and don’t hesitate to share your experiences on the forum :)

Je connais ça le coup de la motivation soudaine, pour tout refoutre au tiroir juste après par dépit. J'ai du faire ça par période plusieurs fois ces dernières années, mais là je m'y remets enfin très sérieusement ! En fait, il suffit de se donner un bon coup de fouet au début, et puis à force de pratiquer tu vas avoir envie de tester pleins de choses. Si le dessin t'intéresse vraiment (et la preuve, tu y reviens !), c'est le principal :)
Bon courage pour la suite, et n'hésite pas à partager tes expériences sur le forum :)
