Hello everyone, I wanted to share my discovery of this Dutch artist with you.
Here is an excerpt from his biography:
Maurits Cornelis Escher1, born on June 17, 1898, in Leeuwarden and died on March 27, 1972, in Laren, more commonly known as M. C. Escher, is a Dutch artist, known for his woodcuts, engravings, and lithographs, often inspired by mathematics. During his life, he created 448 prints, and more than 2,000 drawings and sketches. He also illustrated books, tapestries, stamps, and murals.
His works depict impossible constructions, explorations of infinity, tessellations, and combinations of two- or three-dimensional patterns that gradually transform into completely different forms, challenging the viewer's usual modes of representation.

I really like the "trompe l'oeil" effects, as well as the constructions of completely bizarre objects or buildings that are based on mathematics.!!!

Escher, est un artiste néerlandais, connu pour ses gravures sur bois, manières noires et lithographies souvent inspirées des mathématiques. Au cours de sa vie, il a réalisé 448 estampes, et plus de 2 000 dessins et esquisses. Il a également illustré des livres, des tapisseries, des timbres et des œuvres murales.
Ses œuvres représentent des constructions impossibles, des explorations de l'infini, des pavages et des combinaisons de motifs en deux ou trois dimensions qui se transforment graduellement en des formes totalement différentes, qui défient les modes habituels de représentation du spectateur.

J'aime beaucoup les effets 'trompe l'oeil" ainsi que les constructions d'objets ou bâtiments complètement loufoques mais basées sur les mathématiques.!!!

what he does is amazing; I had the puzzle of the stairs, and it was so difficult to put together!
