Yes, I hold my pencil differently depending on what I want to draw: if I want to create a sketch or a shape that requires broad, sweeping strokes, I hold the tool further from its tip than usual (I hope that makes sense...). Otherwise, I always hold my tools the same way when I write, color, etc., with a pencil or marker, as you mentioned, unless it’s very thick (like a Stabilo highlighter).
Oui, je tiens mon crayon différement en fonction de ce que je veux dessiner : si je veux faire un croquis ou une forme qui demande des formes avec des gestes "amples", je vais maintenir mon outil plus loin de sa pointe que d'habitude ( j'espère que c'est compréhensible ...). Sinon, je tiens toujours mes outils de la même manière quand j'écris, colories ... avec un crayon ou un feutre comme vous avez dit, à part si il est très épais ( un surligneur Stabilo par exemple).
That’s a very good question, and I think it’s something that evolves because the more uncomfortable you feel drawing, the less you’ll tense up when holding the pencil :o)

Depending on what you want to do, you hold it at different points. Usually, you hold it quite far back when you want to make light lines; the closer you get to the tip, the more pressure you generally apply!
Some artists hold it between their index finger and thumb in a horizontal position, others between their index and middle fingers, but most of the time, we hold our pencil as if we were writing ;o)

C'est une très bonne question et je pense qu'elle est évolutive, car plus on se sent àmlaise.piur dessiner, moins on se crispe sur le crayon :o)
La tenue est très personnelle, il n'y a pas de bonne façon de le tenir, il faut le faire au ressenti; souvent on est crispé dessus au début et on se rend compte qu'on le tient moins fort au bout de quelques temps, on le tient différemment aussi.
Selon ce qu'on veut faire, on le tient à différents points, normalement assez au bout quand on veut faire des traits légers, plus on s'approche de la point plus on appuie en général !
Certains artiste les tiennent entre l'index et le pouce en position horizontale, d'autres entre l'index et le majeur, mais la plupart du temps on tient notre crayon comme pour écrire ;o)
