Ah for the theme, I must admit I hadn't thought of Easter, but you're definitely hitting it at the right time of year ^^

I prefer your last proposal, as it is the most balanced in my opinion. On the others, maybe you went a bit too extreme with the difference between the wide and thin strokes.

Other than that, it's good work. 😉👍

Ah pour le thème, je t'avoue que je n'avais pas pensé à Pâques, mais c'est sûr que tu tombes dessus à la bonne période de l'année ^^

Je préfère ta dernière proposition, car c'est la mieux équilibrée selon moi. Sur les autres, peut-être que tu as été un peu trop extrême avec l'écart entre les traits larges et les traits fins.

À part ça, c'est du bon boulot. 😉👍

Good exercise to understand the importance of fluidity in line...
I sometimes used it without realizing it, but now I understand that it is possible to use it consciously and add rhythm to the line!!
A real +

Bon exercice pour comprendre l'importance du délié dans le trait ...
je l'utilisais parfois sans m'en rendre compte mais je comprends maintenant qu'il est possible de s'en servir de façon consciente et de mettre du rythme dans la ligne !!

Good evening,

I really like no. 2. It's the silhouette effect that looks good.

With no. 3, it feels more like we're moving into chiaroscuro, right? :-)

I'm immersed in it, making multiple attempts without getting it right.

Grégoire will have a better opinion on this.

J'aime bien le n°2. C'est l'effet silhouette qui rend bien.

Avec n°3, on a plus l'impression de verser dans le clair-obscur non ? :-)

Je baigne dedans, à multiplier les essais sans m'en sortir.

Hello Freg yes I exaggerated the third one on purpose to give a Rembrandt-esque chiaroscuro effect lol.
I really like this idea of half lighting, and I thought it added some narrative to the character who had a rather Machiavellian attitude.
Did you post your attempts?

Salut Freg oui j'ai forcé le trait sur le 3° volontairement pour donner une idée de clair obscur à la Rembrandt lol.
J'aime bien cette idée de demi éclairage et je trouvais que ça rajoutait de la narration au personnage qui avait une attitude plutôt machiavélique.
Tu as posté tes essais ?

Hello, I did this one evening after work without any real motivation, I must say...

Then, I straightened my paper and there: magic!!! A flat rabbit that had gained depth! I thought it was awesome even though I have no doubt that I still need to improve in this area. In the meantime, here are my attempts...

Bonjour, j'ai fait cela un soir après le boulot sans réelle motivation je dois dire...

Puis, je redresse ma feuille et là: magique!!! Un lapin tout plat qui avait pris du relief! J'ai trouvé ça génial même si je ne doute pas devoir progresser encore dans ce domaine. En attendant voici mes essais...

You'll see that with practice and time, it will become instinctive and you'll develop your own style at this level. Keep it up :)

Of course, it works!

There are stroke values in your work ^^

No matter how you do it, the important thing for this exercise is just not to keep a line of constant thickness no matter the area you are drawing, but rather to vary all that :-)

Il y a des valeurs de trait sur ton travail ^^

Peut importe comment tu le fais, l'important pour cet exo c'est juste de ne pas garder une ligne d'épaisseur constante quel que soit la zone que tu dessines, mais au contraire de faire varier tout ça :-)

Hello, here is my drawing of rabbits, thank you for the lovely gift, it was a lot of fun as an exercise, I really enjoyed it. I did more than you asked for, I'm not sure if I did the shading right, maybe a bit too much, but I had a lot of fun.
