😞 You completely lost me... it's way too complicated. Your explanation was based on what you could see through your transparent paper, but not us... we had to imagine what you were talking about. A quantum leap, so to speak. Too bad because I really liked the idea of mastering perspective, but you really discouraged me this time. It's a bit like you were performing aerial acrobatics up there alone while I hadn't yet grown wings. I hope the rest of your explanations won't be the same...

😞 tu m’as complètement perdu...c’est beaucoup trop compliqué. Ton explication se basait sur ce que tu voyais en transparence sous ta feuille, mais pas nous...il fallait imaginer ce dont tu parlais. Un saut quantique en quelque sorte. Dommage parce que j’aimais bien l’idée de maîtriser la perspective, mais tu m’as vraiment découragé cette fois-ci. Un peu comme si tu faisais de la haute-voltige tout seul là-haut alors qu’il ne m’était pas encore poussé des ailes. J’espère que la suite de tes explications ne sera pas du même genre...

Good evening Saint Jean, if you want to appreciate the perspective, you must understand it and go through learning it. You must circle around your object like a bird in flight. Think that your object is suspended in the air and you are an eagle going to seek the details to then draw it on a sheet of paper with the tip of a feather. You just need to be logical, know some laws and there you go. 😉😉😉

Bonsoir saint jean, si tu veux apprécier la perspective, il faut la comprendre et passer par le apprendre. Tu dois tourner autour de ton objet comment un oiseau en vol. Penses que ton objet est suspendu dans les airs et toi tu es un aigle qui va chercher les détails pour ensuite du bout de la plume le dessiner sur une feuille. Il faut juste etre logique, connaître certaines lois et voilà le tour est joué.😉😉😉

Navrée que ce cours t'ai posé autant problème ! Y a t il des parties qui t'ont particulièrement perdu ou étais tu dans le flou dès le début ? On a pas vraiment de mauvais retours sur cette leçon qui semble être bien comprise en général donc tes retours nous seront utile, et on pourra peut-être t'aider 😁

For the first shape, your choice of viewing angle/elevation level is not the most suitable for understanding the shape, but it's very clear that you understand how it works ^^ well done.

Pour la première forme, ton choix d'angle de vue/niveau d'élévation n'est pas le plus adapté pour comprendre la forme mais on voit très bien que tu as compris comment ça marche ^^ bien joué.

Hello HadH, this viewpoint was chosen to push my difficulty and see if despite the foreground hiding the background, I could accurately execute the rear part and thus properly master the perspective from the angle I visualize in my head. It's funny to say that... now this course on perspective is opening up a lot of perspectives for me. 😉👍

Bonjour HadH, cet angle de vue a été choisi afin de pousser ma difficulté et voir si malgré le premier plan qui cache le second plan je pouvais realiser la partie arriere avec justesse et donc bien maîtriser la perspective sous l'angle que je visionne dans ma tête. C'est rigolot de dire que.... maintenant ce cours sur la perspective m'ouvre beaucoup de perspectives.😉👍

hello!

I didn't understand at first that it was necessary to redraw the basic object according to the vanishing lines, and not identical to the model, which is seen flat, which I had done in the previous drawings. So, are the previous drawings wrong??

je n'ai pas compris de suite qu'il fallait redessiner l'objet de base suivant les fuyantes, et non pas à l'identique du modèle qui est vu à plat, ce que j’avais fait dans les dessins précédents . Du coup est- ce que les dessins précédents sont faux??

Indeed, your first 2 drawings were not correct, it was as if the perspective only applied to the edges of the figure haha.
But then your 2 new attempts are impeccable, nothing to say 👍 Well done for spotting your mistake ^^

En effet tes 2 premiers dessins ne sont pas corrects, c'était comme si la perspective ne s'appliquait que sur les bords de la figure haha.
Mais du coup tes 2 nouveaux essais sont impeccables, rien à dire 👍 Bravo d'avoir repéré ton erreur ^^

It's almost right, but there's a little mix-up—two of your edges are vertical when they are supposed to be vanishing lines :) (the original shape needs to have oblique lines to achieve that effect). I've attached a little correction!

C'est presque ça mais il y a eu une petite embrouille, 2 de tes arêtes se retrouvent verticales alors que ce sont sensées être des fuyantes :) (il faudrait que la forme originale ait des obliques pour avoir un résultat comme ça). Je te joins une petite correction !
