Hello Antonlou!
Almost everything is correct in my opinion, but with only one vanishing point! You have not followed the instruction for two vanishing points! It seems like you took the shapes as they are and added perspective.
First, place your horizon line and vanishing points on your drawing before anything else.
Here is my correction for your exercise anyway.
You are missing 2 edges.
Thank you Marion for this correction.
When you tell me, "It looks like you copied the shapes as they were" it's true, because I don't know how to put the basic drawing into perspective.
I will redo it. Will you tell me?...
Tu me diras?...
Hello antonlou,
First, start by placing your horizon line, then place your two vanishing points.
Basically, the goal is to be able to view your object from an angle, not just from a face.
Simplify your object as much as possible, by enclosing it in a rectangle, for example, and then start carving out the recesses inside.
I hope these tips will help you :) if you have any questions, don't hesitate.
Hello, well... I beg for your help! I've tried this exercise and I don't understand why but my perspective is all crooked, so I greatly request your help and I let you judge the disaster with your own eyes... !!! đđđ
Thank you in advance,
Sincerely,
Lily-Rose! đ
Hello Lily-Rose!
So, your drawing is very modern art, but clearly you got your brushes tangled!đ
Here's my correction, hoping it's clearer for you :)
Hello, thank you for the correction, but actually I copied the drawing from the course material (figure that is not in red in your correction) and then I tried to draw my verticals and then connect everything with my vanishing points but it didn't work and I don't understand why... Can you help me?
Thank you in advance,
Kind regards,
Lily-rose! đ
Hello, so I've roughly understood the correction, but I don't understand why we can't trace the shape to use it as a starting point, just by turning it so that we see it from an angle, ultimately doing like with the previous exercise, that is, already having the base of the squares...?
Thank you in advance,
Best regards,
Lily-rose !!! đ
While uploading the photos, I realized that the horizon line and the vanishing points are not shown, I hope that won't be a problem (I'm still discovering the drawing software ^^').
Hello, I am sending you my drawing, I know it's not as detailed as the others but for now I just wanted to know if I have really understood everything correctly and complicate things later. Thank you for your indulgence! Sincerely, Chlo
Your perspectives are accurate; however, you slightly diverged from the requested exercise. Your basic complex shapes are frontal, not in perspective. Actually, you've applied thickness in the wrong direction ^^
I'm not sure if I'm making myself clear ^^'
Hello Marie-Avril,
Your perspectives are correct, even though the orientation of your volumes is wrong (your basic shapes should be below or above your volumes)
Bonjour Marie-Avril,
Hello, I'm asking a question; I posted my first drawing, and it's been almost a week without a response. Is it always this long? Maybe it's because it's vacation time? I'm just wondering! even the Chat isn't replying ^^
Best regards (I love this training and its courses which I find very very good!)
Hello Cloclo56, so I'm not a teacher but maybe I can help! Indeed, sometimes the correction takes a bit of time but there are not many teachers for the whole training and it's also indeed the holidays so there you go. For the chat, if there is a little green dot in the top left, it means they will respond to you immediately and otherwise you will have to wait for a response by email. The teachers usually correct on the weekend so if you posted it on Monday well... yes it will take some time! There you go, I hope I have helped!
Best regards,
Lily-rose !! đ
Thank you, Lily-Rose! I sent a little message for the chat when it was green and got no response. But it's okay! As you say, they must be overwhelmed! And there's no rush!

I have nothing to say, your volumes are really beautiful and clean.
With a vanishing point as a bonus, well done! đ

Here are the two drawings for the second perspective exercise. Once again, I drew before looking at the correction, so I missed GrĂ©goire's great tip for drawing complex shapes. It didnât pose too much of a problem for me this time, but itâs good advice to take for more complicated future drawings. đ
While uploading the photos, I realized that the horizon line and the vanishing points are not shown, I hope that won't be a problem (I'm still discovering the drawing software ^^').
Thanks in advance for the correction! ^^
