Thank you for this course and the advice. I am submitting my exercise for the first time. I had more difficulty with the 3D underside view, and I am not really satisfied with it.
The 2D views are well done :) There are a few difficulties with the 3D views. I can see that things get a little confused regarding how the top of the box is constructed. You need to remember that there is a rim on which the handle rests, and a step. Iâve attached a diagram of the top of the box that shows the construction in a transparent view; I hope this helps to understand it better. The other issue is that the lines sometimes go off in random directions. When looking at the model, you can see that the lines facing each other are parallel; you need to keep this in mind when drawing. Regardless of the viewing angle, lines that are parallel to each other will remain parallel in a cavalier perspective. Iâve redrawn some of the lines to be parallel in the drawings to make it easier to understand. I hope this helps :) There is still some work to be done, but itâs a good starting point!

This is a good representation of the box! It looks like you understand the construction, and the top of the box is well done. The box on the bottom right is better than the one on the left. Just be careful to maintain the same proportions between the views in terms of the length of the box. Overall, itâs good work đ

here are my first attempts. I had no inspiration for the flying saucer, so I sketched the two objects afterwards to try and understand the shapes and add some volume (exercises to repeat, it will be less tiring next time, right?); itâs really exhausting to do these exercises, but today I tried to recreate the spaceship from Independence Day, at my cousinâs request (Iâve been making a card for her every month for a while now â I posted the photos in my gallery). Well, itâs really useful even if itâs still tiring at the moment x_X
Okay, just for fun, the proportions arenât quite right. I was actually looking for the details. First, I need to see if itâs within my capabilities. After a break, Iâll go back to working with the shapes first, but I tend to do things a bit differently in general (probably a flaw of self-taught individuals), so I tend to focus on one part of the image I have in front of me, which is important for me to succeed in reproducing. Once I understand the broad strokes, I put the broad strokesâgeometric shapesâinto practice. Thatâs why the proportions leave something to be desired o_O
Hello Farbie, this isnât exactly the point of the exercise, but well done, itâs really nice. However, itâs clear that youâre starting with the details. If you start by drawing the main shapes and their volume, it will be easier to add your details later, youâll see :)
Afterward, I realized that the height of the 3D box is too short; weâll have to see if itâs just an impression...

To be honest, youâre doing a great job. Your overall composition is a little soft at times, but your perspectives are generally quite accurate (pay attention to the view in the upper right).

Les vues 2D sont bien réussie :) Pour les vues 3D il y a quelques difficultés. Je vois que ça s'embrouille un peu au niveau de comment est fait le haut de la boßte. il faut penser qu'il y a un rebord sur lequel se pose la anse, et une marche. Je joins un schéma du haut de la boßte qui montre un peu la construction en transparence, j'espÚre que ça aidera à mieux comprendre. L'autre souci est que les traits partent parfois un peu dans n'importe quelle direction. En regardant le modÚle on voit que les droites les unes en face des autres sont parallÚles, il faut garder ça en dessinant. Quelque soit l'angle de vue, des traits parallÚles les uns aux autres le resteront dans une perspective cavaliÚre. J'ai remis des traits en parallÚle sur des dessins pour mieux comprendre. J'espÚre que ça aidera :) Il y a encore un peu de travail mais ce sont de bonnes bases !

C'est une bonne synthĂšse de la boĂźte ! La construction a l'air comprise et le haut de la boĂźte aussi. La boĂźte en bas Ă droite est mieux rĂ©ussie que celle Ă gauche. Attention juste Ă garder les mĂȘmes proportions entre les vues concernant la longueur de la boĂźte. C'est du bon travail en tous cas đ

voici mes premiers essais, inspiration inexistante pour la soucoupe volante, et j'ai griffonnĂ© les deux objets ensuite, pour essayer de comprendre les formes, et y ajouter un peu de volune ( des exercices Ă refaire, ça sera moins fatiguant la prochaine fois ?!); c'est vraiment Ă©reintant de faire ses exercices, mais aujourdhui j'ai tentĂ© de reproduire le vaisseau d'Independance Day, Ă la demande de ma cousine ( pour qui je fais une carte chaque mois depuis quelques temps - postĂ© les photos dans ma galerie- ), ben c'est super utile mĂȘme si ça reste fatiguant pour le moment x_X

Franchement, tu t'en sors bien. Ta forme globale est un peu molle parfois, mais tes perspectives sont plutĂŽt justes (attention Ă la vue en haut Ă droite).
