The front view is nice, however, the 3/4 view lacks volume. The handle on top looks flattened and glued to the camcorder body. It doesn't appear to be a raised element above. Also, watch the size of the lens compared to the body of your camera, here, it's way too big.
A quick little correction in the image ^^ To your defense, you chose a quite tricky viewing angle, from above. Try shifting a bit more towards the bottom and the right, it should make it easier for you đ
There are a few small perspective errors here and there, but you've done well to convey the volume, it's consistent from all angles, and I feel that you've really understood how it works ^^
Hello,
Here is my work on the toolkit.
I'm having big issues with the proportions...
Unfortunately, the more I try to modify one area, the more I create an imbalance in another...
I'm going to try the camera which may take much longer to analyze!
The result is cool :D It's clear, you've understood what you are drawing. You even went into quite a lot of detail. The proportions match from one view to another, so it's a big yes from me âïž
Hello again đ
I just did the exercise on the camera.
I really simplified the shapes as explained in the course.
However, I really struggle with ellipses.
The result seems quite coherent overall.
Waiting for your comments đ
Several attempts before arriving at this 2D board. This allowed me to see several details that I had not noticed before: difference in component sizes, setbacks in certain places... I'll let the teachers point out what's wrong ;)
Hello everyone, here is my work on the tool box, I think I'm going into too much detail but I can't simplify it. As someone who loves comics, I think I need to get to the point. I'll force myself to simplify the camera.
See you soon
Oh yes, if you are targeting comic books, we're going to get along well :D
It's mainly that we're not trying to make a perfect drawing for now. It can be good to stick to the essentials especially for storyboards, to stay in the realm of comic books ^^
Here you provided detail, but you did well, in itself it's not a problem to add details, if you feel more comfortable that way. As long as the foundation is good, you have my blessing :)
I approve the toolbox âïž
Hello Pat !
There are some construction issues with the toolbox in the 3/4 views (missing elements, elements that weren't turned into volume but that you had indicated on other views.
Be careful with the proportions of your toolbox, you've stretched your model quite a bit in the 4th view. Likewise, the size of the camera lens is completely disproportionate in the 3/4 view whereas you did it well in the front view.
But aside from these small issues, it works very well. For me, it's approved ;p
I really realized the usefulness of making 2D models right next to them, when I immediately saw the flaw in my closure flaps which were mispositioned and therefore misproportioned!
I'm not very comfortable with proportions and I still have a lot of work to do! By persevering, even the sheet is in 3D on the table
đ
Not being a "Patient" by nature, I find myself obsessing over erasing the drawing several times or even completely to start all over! I love it and I even dream about it at night đ.
Watch out for disproportions, but you've already noted that it's a weak point. I advise you to really take your time on proportions, it's one of the most basic of basics. While it's not a big deal not to know how to master grayscale values, stroke, composition, or anatomy right away, proportions are important. For instance, on your camera, the handle on top doesn't always have the same size. In the view on the bottom left, it seems to occupy a third of the camera's length, but in the view on the top right and bottom right, it takes up more than half. Also, watch the thickness of the lens cylinder in your view on the bottom left; it's too thick, and physically impossible that it takes up so much space on the body.
But other than that, it works well, I approve đ

The side view is really cool :D
The front view is nice, however, the 3/4 view lacks volume. The handle on top looks flattened and glued to the camcorder body. It doesn't appear to be a raised element above. Also, watch the size of the lens compared to the body of your camera, here, it's way too big.

She seems nice ^^
Don't forget to draw her from different angles đ

There are a few small perspective errors here and there, but you've done well to convey the volume, it's consistent from all angles, and I feel that you've really understood how it works ^^
So, it's good for me âïž
Well done :D

Very tidy work ^^
There are some construction issues with the toolbox in the 3/4 views (missing elements, elements that weren't turned into volume but that you had indicated on other views.
Be careful with the proportions of your toolbox, you've stretched your model quite a bit in the 4th view. Likewise, the size of the camera lens is completely disproportionate in the 3/4 view whereas you did it well in the front view.

Here is my toolbox in 3D and 2D! đ
I really realized the usefulness of making 2D models right next to them, when I immediately saw the flaw in my closure flaps which were mispositioned and therefore misproportioned!
I'm not very comfortable with proportions and I still have a lot of work to do! By persevering, even the sheet is in 3D on the table

Not being a "Patient" by nature, I find myself obsessing over erasing the drawing several times or even completely to start all over! I love it and I even dream about it at night đ.
Good luck to everyone đđ

Indeed, the advice to make the 3D sketch in one block and refine it afterwards greatly helped and simplified the creation of the sketch! đđ
Quite proud of myself, who had a lot of trouble with perspective at the beginning of the training. đ
Good luck to all đđ

It's not bad at all :D
