Comment tracer les lignes de fuite d"un objet quand le point de fuite est à l'extérieur de la feuille? Il y a eu plusieurs exemples de ce type dans le cours. Si le point de fuite est "virtuel" on ne peut pas placer sa règle. Avez-vous une astuce pour remédier à ce problème ?
A very useful technical trick for drawing in perspective when the vanishing points are located outside the sheet of paper is to use a string. All you need to do is stick a pin (or a piece of tape) on your table, at the exact location of your distant vanishing point, and attach a string to it. By stretching the string over your drawing, the string will automatically align with the vanishing point. This will allow you to draw all your vanishing lines with perfect precision, without needing a giant ruler or having to extend your paper!
Une astuce technique très utile pour dessiner en perspective lorsque les points de fuite se trouvent en dehors de la feuille consiste à utiliser une ficelle. Il te suffit de planter une punaise (ou de coller un morceau de ruban adhésif) sur ta table, à l'emplacement exact de ton point de fuite éloigné, et d'y attacher une ficelle. En la tendant au-dessus de ton dessin, la ficelle s'alignera automatiquement avec le point de fuite. Cela te permettra de tracer toutes tes lignes de fuite avec une précision parfaite, sans avoir besoin d'une règle géante ni de rallonger ton papier !
