I'm currently taking a BASE training course and I'm using Krita, but I'm having a small issue: when I bring my stylus close to the screen, it starts writing even without me pressing on it, which is quite annoying! So I'm wondering if it's a problem with the stylus or with the settings. Can you help me? Thanks in advance.

Hi! I’ve been using Krita for almost 2 years, and based on what you’re saying, I think the issue lies in the settings. Uninstall your tablet software and reinstall it.
You can also install other software like Sketchbook, which is also free, and test your tablet. If the problem persists in both programs, you’ll need to search online for the correct settings for your tablet. If not, reinstall Krita with the correct version and update it.
salut !j 'utilise krita depuis près de 2 ans , au vu de ce que tu dis, je pense que c est au niveau du parametrage, desinstale ton logiciel tablettre et reinstale le
tu peux instaler d'autres logiciel comme sketchbook qui est gratuit aussi et tester ta tablette . Si le probleme persiste sur les 2 logiciels, il y a plus qu a chercher sur le net le bon parametrage de ta tablette, le cas contraire reinstale krita avec la bonne version et mis a jours
Thanks, I’ve already found the solution. Just one quick question while we’re at it: do you prefer working on Krita or Photoshop CS4? Which one do you use? And I’d like to buy some good equipment for my 30th birthday, a graphics tablet that doesn’t need to be plugged into a computer – I think it’s called a standalone tablet. Do you have any recommendations for brands or anything else? Thanks, Chloe.

Et j'aimerais m'acheter un bon matos pour mes 30 ans , une tablette graphique qui ne se branche pas sur ordi je crois que ça s'appelle une tablette autonome... aurais tu un conseil de marque ou autre ? Merci cordialement chlo
