Learn the Codes of Children's Illustration

Illustrated stories mark our entire childhood and remain in our imagination even as adults. We all still remember a book, a comic, or a cartoon that captivated us as children.

In this Youth Illustration course, we will explore together how to create this imagery through various means; that of reflection, technique, style, and composition. Demonstrations and corrected exercises for you to practice at home will be offered throughout the training to understand the "codes" of children's illustration.

The final idea will be to best serve the story and address the reader for whom the work is intended. It is no coincidence that illustrated books are categorized by age group: 0-3 years, 5+, 8+, and 12+.

Let the child within you speak (again) and join Camille Raveau for this training.
