A little research... I really like this format, as it allows you to explore ideas. I learned this technique in a professional digital painting course, but the format was the size of a stamp...
I see that you had a lot of fun doing this exercise. As a general recommendation, I would like to introduce you to the concept of the âsafe zoneâ: it is a notion commonly used in audiovisual productions, but it also applies here. Imagine a margin around your design and place all the important elements within it. In fact, anything that is partially outside of this zone will instinctively be overlooked or ignored by the viewer.
Your sketches are truly charming! This exercise is great because it helps us build images within the constraints of the frame, as if we were taking a picture of our own ideas.
What an excellent idea to combine this exercise with the perspective exercises! If you turn these volumes into houses, you can create truly interesting scenes.
Try merging this activity with your second representation; Iâm sure the results will impress you!
Very well done! The key to this exercise is to explore different perspectives and types of framing. I personally really like the elongated composition you present for the forest; it invites the viewer to wander through the image and get lost among the trees. So remember, whenever you organize your images, you should always consider your intention.
Here are my attempts at staging the scene. I realized that it was better to stay within the frame, but to test some effects, I tried placing a few fir trees on the edges or partially outside the frame.
Itâs a great idea to play with the positioning of the elements within the frame. However, itâs also very rewarding to try to tell a short story with each drawing: for example, two friends greeting each other from a distance, someone returning home, or two children playing under a tree. Try this, and your sketches will come to life and have more meaning.
Regarding the number of images, I believe itâs not possible to upload more than one at a time. So, please continue sending them as you are; I will always respond to the latest one you post, unless each one requires separate corrections.
You did an excellent job with the distances and sizes, which helped you create very interesting scenes. I would like to highlight your choice of colors: a red house in the middle of a green forest is a very good choice that immediately catches the eye.

Hello!
Itâs a great idea to play with the positioning of the elements within the frame.

Hello!
You did an excellent job with the distances and sizes, which helped you create very interesting scenes. I would like to highlight your choice of colors: a red house in the middle of a green forest is a very good choice that immediately catches the eye.
Salut !
