Hello,
Here is my work. I found this exercise extremely complicated. The course material is very complex for me.
I had difficulty identifying the gray areas
Everything seems well understood, even the shadows :) The shadows are well positioned in relation to the direction of the light. The large colored shadows aren't especially necessary for an exercise on stroke values, as they blur the visual a bit, especially on the mix. Otherwise, it's very good work!
Great job :) For the silhouette, it seems well understood, and the one highlighting the lower features too. There are just a few adjustments to make that I have annotated on the drawings. For the last rabbit, it seems that it should be a mix, that works :) Be careful, the real shaded shadows are not requested and blur the visibility regarding line values. But it's good work. Maybe adding one or two rabbits to work on highlighting angles or one that highlights the features of areas in shadow would be good additions. Anyway, it's good :)
Everything is well done and tidy, well done :) I would just make a comment about the one with the shadows. We mainly asked to thicken the lines that would be in the shadow, a bit like the lower lines which could be imagined as an exercise in highlighting the lines in the shadow if the light came from above. Shadow gradients are not specifically requested and in your case, I feel that it makes you forget to thicken some lines (bottom of the cape on the right...), and the thickening of the lines is less visible. But it's still very pretty :)
For the silhouette, the entire outer silhouette of the rabbit needs to be done. You got a bit mixed up on that one so here's a tutorial for you ^^
Okay for number 2, and okay for number 3 as well (there are just some other angles that could be done, the intersections of lines forming angles). For number 4 it's good, but some strokes were emphasized when they shouldn't have been since they're not on the shadowed side (I showed visually). For the 2 free trials, it's pretty good, but watch out for uniformity, it's better when a "code" that we apply is done everywhere consistently ^^ Exercises quite well done in any case :)
Thank you for the feedback and correction. I understand better now.
I will try to keep doing the exercises before watching the correction video. I find that it forces one to "think" more and that itâs more effective for getting it all into oneâs head.
Merci pour le retour et la correction. Je comprends mieux maintenant.
Yes, it's good to try it on your own before looking at the answers, even if that doesnât stop you from checking them in case of a major block ^^ Everyone does as they prefer :)
Hello coffee bean! For the angle work, it seems understood :) For the second sheet, it looks good and it's neat, but almost all the lines are thickened so I canât see which instruction was followed, what did you want to do? You could try rabbits highlighting the character's silhouette or maybe the lines underneath or in the shadow ^^
There are some good things :) It looks like the top right silhouette is coming along nicely :) In the bottom right, pay attention to gradually reducing the thickness to make a good transition to the clear line. Itâs not very harmonious if the thickness abruptly stops. Also, remember that all intersections of lines form angles, so for more harmony, if you apply a "rule," it should be done everywhere ^^ In the bottom left, since the photo is a bit blurry, I can't see what was done ^^ You might need to take a clearer picture.
Moving on ^^ Regarding the shadow one, it isn't quite what was requested. We're dealing with lines so we're not asking you to color in large shadow areas. The idea is more to thicken the lines on the shadowed side. For example, if the light were coming from the right, the lines on the left of the elements would be thickened. The one on the bottom left I can't really tell either because of the blur. For the last one, it seems like you traced over everything; what were you trying to do? (the writing is cut off).
In conclusion, there are some things to rework but it's a good start ^^
You didn't exactly follow the instructions, but your work is interesting and ultimately incorporates some elements :) Your instinctive approach works quite well. On the bottom left, you've emphasized the small shadow recesses (which almost amounts to an emphasis on angles). When you apply a "code" you've set for yourself, it's good to remain consistent for more harmony, so the odd part is mainly what you did on the nose, which contrasts with the rest since the nose is not a recess. For the one at the bottom right of the first sheet and the one at the top left of the second sheet, it also seems to be a rather successful work on the angles, more or less thick. On the right of the second, it's a fine job on the shadows, but given the position of your light, the right side of the cape and the ear should also be thickened. It's beautiful work :)

Voici mon travail.

indeed regarding the shadow I noticed that the lines appeared very thin.
Thanks again :)
Merci encore :)

Here are my various attempts for the line values. I watched the correction video after my drawings.
I had uncertainties about certain methods but I think I have my answers after watching the video.
For the silhouette, I was wondering if it referred to the overall silhouette of the drawing or of each element.
For the shadow lines, I was wondering if it was only on elements that covered others.
Maybe I overthink things sometimes...
What do you think of the result?
