Iâm also left-handed. I suggest you start on the right side of the page and work your way to the left. I know itâs not easy because schools teach us to do the opposite. But there you go! GOOD LUCK! đ

Top view: the middle legs seem to be positioned too far back, and the hind legs might be a bit too far back as well.

Otherwise, you seem to have flattened your ladybug a bit too much. You should think of it as a half-sphere for the overall shape.
Hello, I tried again to make my ladybug look more like a âhemisphereâ shape, and I did it from several angles: front, side, and top! I had a bit of trouble with the front view, thoughâŠ!

Also, it looks like you rushed a bit when working on the elytra because the central demarcation and the corresponding pseudo-symmetry are missing.
Apart from that, itâs not too bad :)
I notice that the legs might be too long in relation to the size of the âbody.â Iâm not sure about the size of the head; it seems a bit too small!

J'ai un doute sur la taille de la tĂȘte, elle me semble peut ĂȘtre trop petite !?
The size of the head doesnât bother me too much; itâs better to depict it slightly too small than too large, in my opinion! (When you look at a ladybug from a distance, you can barely see it!) But itâs true that it could have been a little bigger, just a bit ;)
As for the legs, I donât think theyâre too long, but in your profile views, it looks a bit like itâs standing on stilts. I think the legs should remain fairly close to the ground.
You seem to have made the thorax a bit too rounded, whereas it usually follows the general curve of the creature quite well.
Other than that, itâs very good, I must say :) good analysis of the volumes!

Y'Ă de l'idĂ©e mais la forme gĂ©nĂ©rale de ta coccinelle n'est pas bonne, surtout sur la deux oĂč elle est trĂšs allongĂ©e... et la 1 elle n'a pas du tout ce cĂŽtĂ© "plat" en dessus, en plus d'avoir des soucis de proportion entre sa tĂȘte, son thorax, les points.. toussa. Je te joins une petite correction visuelle !

Thatâs good! Your ladybug is just a bit squashed in two of your sketches; normally, itâs more rounded. Good observation about the legs!

Les pattes font en effet un peu arachnide, surtout sur celle de face, en bas. Le souci n'est pas leur largeur mais surtout qu'elles sont trop pliées, je pense.
Autrement, tu as eu tendance à trop écraser ta coccinelle. Il faut penser demi sphÚre pour la forme générale :)

Ta coccinelle fait un peu trop "tique" à mon goût, je pense que ça vient du fait qu'elle est trop ronde, elle a un aspect "gonflé", notamment sur le thorax qui a une forme assez géométrique normalement.
Aussi on voit que tu es allé un peu vite en besogne sur les élytres parce qu'il n'y a pas la démarcation centrale et la pseudo symétrie qui va avec.
En dehors de ça c'est pas trop mal :)

La taille de la tĂȘte ne me choque pas outre mesure, il vaut mieux la reprĂ©senter trop petite que trop grande si tu veux mon avis ! (Quand on regarde une coccinelle de loin on ne la voit mĂȘme pas !) Mais c'est vrai qu'elle aurait pu ĂȘtre un poil plus grande, Ă peine ;)
Pour les pattes, je ne pense pas qu'elles soient trop longues mais par contre sur tes vues de profil elle a un peu l'air d'ĂȘtre montĂ©e sur Ă©chasses, je pense que les pattes doivent rester assez proches du sol.
Tu as eu tendance à faire le thorax un peu bombé alors qu'il suit assez bien la courbe générale de la bestiole normalement.
En dehors de ça c'est trÚs bien celà dit :) bonne analyse des volumes !
