Hey Jarod! Absolutely nothing to criticize, itâs perfect!! You almost went too far with the level of detail considering the exercise, but the least we can say is that itâs exceptionally well done ;) Well done đ
Here is my second attempt with the camera.
I tried to take your comments into account, but Iâm still having a little trouble with the background.
I look forward to your feedback.
Thatâs much better, La Bretonne! Iâm not sure what you think, though.
It seems like there are still one or two areas that youâre having trouble understanding, but overall, youâve grasped the structure of the device, which is good for me :)
Donât hesitate to repeat the exercise from time to time to reinforce your understanding đ
Here are the results of the first exercise on volumetric modeling...
I really need to simplify the subject because I struggled a lot when switching to perspective views.
It's not easy to rotate the object in your head and visualize the result in order to reproduce it, and the more details you add, the more confusing it becomes.
So, I'm going to tackle the camera, keeping this in mind.
Thank you, Rakja, for your comment, which is a source of encouragement.
I must admit that these two exercises didnât really excite me, even though Iâm generally happy with the results each time.
Iâm finally finishing the first perspective view of the second subject, âthe camera,â using the vanishing point technique, which Iâm discovering along the way.
In any case, my brain has often been working hard trying to cope with the difficulty of the exercise.
Thereâs still one more perspective view to do to complete and finalize this exercise, and then Iâll post the results of my work.
Iâm sorry I canât show you the front, left, and top views that I created before I started working on the perspective views.
Unfortunately, due to an incorrect manipulation of the layers in Procreate while I was trying to reorganize their positioning, I lost all the work I had done⊠Iâm really disappointed.
If I were to nitpick (although thatâs not the point of this exercise, and youâve even gone above and beyond), the only thing thatâs incorrect is the shape of the lens ellipses.
Otherwise, itâs very detailed, well-constructed, and well-proportioned.
Yes, I had also noticed this perspective issue on the left side of the panel.
I think I failed to distance myself from what I saw in the original photo.
I should have designed something more logical, even if it looked less like the object depicted in the photo.
Here is my study of the toolbox! By digitizing it, I just realized that, in the side view, I placed the bottom of the handle incorrectly on the right side (the furthest side). The two sides are not at the same level.
Thank you for your feedback!
Indeed, but in terms of the basic principle of the exercise, youâve clearly understood how to structure your object. So, as far as Iâm concerned, itâs all good đ
Hello Atipik !

Your work is incredibly clean, and itâs one of the most detailed pieces Iâve ever seen!
Nothing to criticize, itâs perfect đ

It definitely helps with erasing, duplicating graphic areas, and some of the assistance features.
