Hello Maverick, this is a great illustration. And itâs nice to see the creation process! In terms of color, it might be lacking a bit of atmosphere that would fit the scene of this subway platform, but itâs still an effective color scheme. Just be careful with the marks and strokes that are a bit too noticeable. You canât always avoid the marks from colored pencils or felt-tip pens, but you can always use them to add texture to the elements, so always try to follow the angle of the shapes you are coloring so that these marks look more ânatural.â Otherwise, there are a few minor inaccuracies in the perspective, but nothing too obvious, except for the staircase in the background, which is clearly not at the right angle!
What I initially thought would be just a simple rectangle with some work on the tree turned into a study of the window, which took me quite a bit of time (enough time) so the tree ended up being a bit rushed.
Hi Simon0, thatâs great! We can definitely see that you focused a lot on the window, and the result is really good! But pay attention to the perspective. The choice of angle gives the perspective an unnatural feel; I think choosing a more pronounced 3/4 angle, with two well-defined vanishing points, would look better! This would also allow you to better manage the depth of the exterior setting (which ultimately doesnât necessarily need to be too detailed). Great work!
Hi Natou, and sorry for this very late reply. I had to catch up on my feedback, and your work got a little lost in the forum... đ
Anyway, great drawing and beautiful composition! Special mention for the building and its perspective! The main weakness comes from the foreground; the two fir trees clearly lack volume and even seem rather flat and just placed on the ground... Don't hesitate to simplify by using a cone shape to help you position them! You can move them further to the left; this will fill the somewhat empty space behind the house and also prevent them from obscuring it too much! The snowman also lacks a bit of volume and gives a slightly two-dimensional impression... Otherwise, the space on the right in the background might seem a bit empty; you could possibly place a few additional trees there, but I think it's optional.
Overall, it's very good work! Again, sorry for the delay in providing feedback! Happy New Year to you.
Thank you for your answer! It's crazy like 2, 3 pencil strokes of a pro enough to make a beautiful drawing !!!! It encourages me to continue. Thank you!
It was super intimidating at first but following the course and the different steps really helps a lot! I'm pretty happy with myself, even if I haven't managed to have correct wheels ...
Well done on this drawing; itâs really good. I can see that youâve also challenged yourself to put into practice everything youâve learned in the lessons so far. Iâve added a few details to give it more depth, particularly by adding more grass in the foreground and intensifying the tree. Well done anyway đ
Good evening, HYPOCAMPE, this is really quite good! However, there are a few minor points that need addressing. To improve the readability of your composition, try to clearly differentiate the various planes. This will help you better organize the space. The perspective on the church isnât quite right; several of the vanishing lines donât seem to converge at the same point. And finally, pay attention to the proportions! If you look closely, the trees behind the church are significantly oversized compared to the church itself! Try to keep comparison scales in mind when determining the size of the elements in your composition.
Well done!! đ This is really good. Youâve used everything weâve seen, and overall, your drawing looks great, especially the perspective of the house and all the details. It seems to me that the roof is slightly too far to the right, at the level of your character. His legs also seem a little small. However, you could have added more shading, especially cast shadows, to really convey the volume to its full potential :) You can be proud of yourself đ

Beau travail ! :)

I wanted to capture the view from your window.
What I initially thought would be just a simple rectangle with some work on the tree turned into a study of the window, which took me quite a bit of time (enough time) so the tree ended up being a bit rushed.

Hello Bako,
Well done!! đ This is really good. Youâve used everything weâve seen, and overall, your drawing looks great, especially the perspective of the house and all the details. Bonjour Bako,Â
Bravo !!
