Getting Started & Ergonomics of Procreate

This module helps you get started with Procreate with ease. You will discover the general ergonomics of the app, the home interface, the organization of projects, and the main action menus. You will learn where to find important tools, how to navigate the interface, and how to set up a comfortable workspace. The goal: to no longer feel lost in front of the screen and to know exactly where to click to start drawing.

Essential Drawing Tools

In this module, you will delve into the heart of practice with essential drawing tools. You learn to use brushes, the eraser, and the smudge tool to draw, blend, and correct, while exploring the initial concepts of layers and color. A practical implementation video connects all these tools together to enable you to create your first digital sketches in Procreate, without getting distracted.

Brushes & Customization

This module is dedicated to brushes and their customization. You start with a brush workshop to understand how they react (size, opacity, pressure, texture), then you learn to create your own brush step by step. You see how to adapt a brush to your stroke, your style, and your needs. This is where Procreate really begins to become a tailor-made playground rather than just a set of "default" tools.

Layers, Blend Modes & Adjustments

In this module, you will learn how to structure and refine your illustrations using layers, blending modes, and adjustments. You will learn to organize your layers, to play with various modes to enrich the light and shadows, and then to use adjustments (colors, contrasts, blurs, etc.) and selection tools to precisely correct certain areas. This will take you from simple drawings to much more accomplished images, without having to start over with each modification.

Final Animation & Illustrations

This last module allows you to put into practice all the concepts covered in the training. You start by discovering the animation tools of Procreate and create your first simple animations. Then, you follow two final guided illustrations, step by step, from the sketch to the final adjustments. This is an opportunity to connect all the tools (brushes, layers, colors, adjustments) in a real creative workflow, and to come out with a finalized image that you can be proud of.
