Hereâs a little boy I drew, and I tried to depict him with round glasses and freckles, etc. Anyway, I had fun doing it. Iâm having a little trouble with the clothes; I never know what to put on them.
1. Pay attention to the size of the legs (or tights, depending on how you want to look at it). Even though itâs a simplified, cute version, in order for it to work, we need to keep certain general proportions, especially those of the body. Here, the arms are very short, or the legs are very long. Ideally, the arms should reach at least the waist. In your little chibi drawing, it canât put its hands in its pockets or cross its arms.
2. Pay attention to the length and thickness of the neck (especially in the chibi version of yourself). Iâve made a small diagram showing how things look at that level in reality. Of course, it needs to be simplified; Iâve added another example to help you ^^
Otherwise, itâs great :D Donât forget the ears on mini Regina. If we can see the side of her face (so not hidden by her hair), then we should see the ear on the right ^^.
The body and face look great :D, but the hair is a bit strange. It doesnât seem to follow any particular style; were you trying to create a specific haircut?
Ah, I suspected as much. In that case, the overall shape isnât quite right, and the small details youâve added to the hair are far too uniform: all the same length, evenly spaced, etc. Iâm attaching a small correction to help you. Keep in mind that curly hair is, well, curly, with curls of varying sizes, so use more of a wavy pattern rather than a zigzag pattern.
I made a little Christmas hat, it fits the theme ;-) and Goku (without using a reference and from memory, so it's a bit rough, sorry). For the profile, I moved the mouth to the side to simplify it, but I'm not sure if I fully understood the simplification you mentioned in your video about facial expressions.
Apart from the fact that Goku has eyes that are a bit too small in the first drawing, I think it looks really cool. And in the profile view, I think his neck is a little too long.

Hormi le fait que Goku ait de trop petits yeux sur le premier dessin, sinon je le trouve trĂšs cool. Et sur le profil il a le cou un poil trop long je trouve.
I just have a couple of minor comments to make to improve them. For the first one, I think itâs missing a little bit of the skull on the left. If I draw the shape in transparency underneath, it would look like this:
And for this one, I really like the hairstyle, and the eyes are great too :D
You might have placed the hairline very, very high on the head, but itâs not necessarily a bad thing.
My main point of attention would be the legs and the lower part of the body in general: make sure to build the body well below the waist so you can place the clothes on top ^^
Here, the legs seem straight and donât really originate from the pelvis, unless the chibi has its legs partially bent, but that would be strange and the dress wouldnât look right either. Iâm attaching a correction so you can see what I mean :)
But otherwise, it works very well :D
Et pour celui-ci, j'aime beaucoup la sylisation des cheveux, les yeux sont chouettes aussi :D

A little later in the tutorial, Iâll show you how to create a nice color scheme for a Chibi character; I think youâll like it ;p
Just a heads-up regarding the girl in the picture: she has a rather revealing neckline, but she still maintains a bit of modesty :D

Alors j'ai juste deux petites remarques :
1. attention Ă la taille des bas (ou des jambes ça dĂ©pend). MĂȘme si on est sur une version simplifiĂ©e mignonne, pour que ça fonctionne, on doit garder certaines proportions gĂ©nĂ©rales, notamment celles du corps. Ici les bras sont trĂšs courts, ou les jambes trĂšs longues. Dans l'idĂ©al, il faut que les bras descendent au moins jusqu'Ă la taille. LĂ ton petit chibi ne peut pas mettre les mains dans les poches, ni croiser les bras.
2. Attention au niveau du cou qui est long et Ă©pais (notamment sur la version chibi de toi-mĂȘme). Je t'ai fait un petit schĂ©ma de comment les choses se passent Ă ce niveau dans le rĂ©el. Bien sĂ»r, il faut simplifier, je t'ai mis encore un exemple pour t'aider ^^
Autrement c'est chouette :D N'oublie pas les oreilles sur mini Regina, si on voit le cÎté de son visage (donc pas caché par les cheveux) alors on voit l'oreille à droite ^^.

Ah je m'en doutais, alors dans ce cas la forme gĂ©nĂ©rale n'est pas juste et les petits dĂ©tails que tu as placĂ©s dans les cheveux sont beaucoup trop rĂ©guliers : tous la mĂȘme longueur, espacĂ©s de maniĂšre assez homogĂšne, etc. Je te joins une petite correction pour t'aider ;p N'oublie pas que les cheveux crĂ©pus sont des cheveux bouclĂ©s, avec des boucles plus ou moins petites, donc utilise plutĂŽt des ondulations plutĂŽt que des zigzag :)

j'ai fait un petit bonnet de Noël, c'est dans le thÚme ;-) et Goku (sans référence et de mémoire, ça pique un peu dsl). Pour le profil, j'ai mis la bouche de cÎté pour simplifier mais je ne suis pas sûr d'avoir bien compris la simplification dont tu parles dans ta vidéo sur les expressions lol.

Tu as peut-ĂȘtre placĂ© l'implantation des cheveux trĂšs trĂšs trĂšs haut sur la tĂȘte par contre, mais c'est pas choquant en soi.
Mon point d'attention serait au niveau des jambes et de la partie infĂ©rieure du corps en gĂ©nĂ©ral : pense Ă bien construire le corps en-dessous pour pouvoir placer les vĂȘtements par-dessus ^^
Ici les jambes ont l'air droites et de ne pas vraiment partir du bassin, à moins que le chibi ait les jambes pliées en partie mais ce serait étrange et le dessin de la robe ne serait pas juste non plus. Je te joins une correction pour que tu visualises :)
Mais autrement ça marche trÚs bien :D
