And in the last image, I tried out the cylinder tutorial, so I understood how it works better, and I also changed the direction of the cylinder and the lens based on the corrections you gave me! (However, I drew my change in direction smaller, so itâs not very proportional, but I only realized that afterwards, haha!!! đ)
Hello EliseZ!
Indeed, this exercise is not easy, and you had some trouble with the proportions. Try to visualize the camera as several volumes that fit together.
Here is my correction.
Very good work, lots of details on your cameras!
However, be careful not to forget the basic construction; make sure to clearly draw your main shapes before adding details.
Otherwise, well done, here is my correction đ
Hello, I posted three messages about my drawing and received feedback on each one, except for the one about volume. Would it be possible to get feedback on that one as well, because the feedback Iâve received has been very helpful and has helped me to better understand what Iâm drawing!
Best regards,
Lily-rose! đ
Here are my drawings for the camera; Iâm not sure if everything is aligned correctly for the perspective view.
Do you have any comments?
Thank you :)
These are very nice cameras. Your axis seems good to me, and I can see that you drew your cube well before starting on the camera. Thatâs great!
Just pay attention to the direction of your lines, which should remain firmly anchored within the cube, and therefore respect its direction and perspective.
Here is my feedback on your artwork. Overall, itâs very well done and shows a good understanding of the subject matter â well done! The exercise was certainly not easy.
Hello, here are my sketches of the camera đ
I had a lot of trouble with the 3D representation, especially when it came to the front of the handle, where many small shapes are interlocked to hold the camera and the microphone đ
At this stage, can we already use a ruler to draw straight lines? I find it difficult to do them freehand.
Hello Errack,
Of course, you can use a ruler, especially to help you build your volumes (cubes) in a lighter way. Then, you can add the details.
Also, pay attention to the perspective of your volumes; if you start with simple cubes in perspective, it will be even easier to have a camera that stays in place.
You have mastered the essentials, well done.
This is good work; you clearly understand how the camera works. Just pay attention to the handle, which is positioned in the center of the camera body, and make sure that the elements attached to it are at the top of the handle and not at the bottom. For the exercise, it would also be good to try a top view and some tests with a cavalier perspective. Overall, itâs good đ
Itâs better now, just be careful not to forget the screen. The perspective view is quite good, but pay attention to the end of the lens, which has been drawn from the front, when it should be in perspective. Also, pay attention to the rounding of the lens cylinder (Iâm leaving a tutorial) and the height of the handle. In any case, the camera is well understood.
This is some excellent, meticulous work! The 2D views are very well done, and the camera is well understood â bravo! The 3D view is also good, but pay attention to how the cylinder of the lens is anchored to the front of the camera body. You need to imagine the entire base circle. The same applies to the rings on the cylinder; their curvature isn't quite right because the complete circles haven't been imagined as being transparent. I'm attaching an explanatory diagram about the cylinders to help you understand all this better đ

Yes, you understood the tutorial correctly; it will be easier to understand how to apply it to an object for you.

Avez-vous des commentaires ? . . .
Merci :)
